http://www.veritasvosliberabit.com/ericbloodstorm.html Eric Bloodstorm:  speaking for the Portland Vampire Community. We are a small yet single minded group of vampires. We walk the right hand path and firmly believe in returning to this world as much if not more than we take from it. In short, we choose to be symbionts, not parasites. We believe the greatest good we can do for our small society, it to make a positive difference in the lives of those we meet and befriend. The majority of the community is not publicly “out” but moves frequently and freely through the society at large here in Portland. We have Sang, Psy, and Elemental vampires as well as those who choose to be not so clearly defined. While our membership is private and “closed” so to speak, upon good reference, we will accept vampires, donors, and friends of the community in honorarium. While most of our functions are exclusive and private, we do have a single public function once a year. This being our Vampire’s Masquerade Ball which is shared with the larger Gothic community, but is intended as a chance to meet those vampires who would be willing to travel and enjoy our community and its hospitality.from: http://www.veritasvosliberabit.com/members.html

Eric Bloodstorm
1966 – 2012

It’s with great sadness that I pass along the tragic news of Eric Bloodstorm’s sudden passing from an apparent heart attack in the early morning hours of December 3, 2012. Eric was a resident of Portland, Oregon and a long-time and well respected vampire and BDSM community member. Many of you probably knew him from Portland’s Vampire Masquerade Ball, the Portland Vampire Meetup Group, his membership in Voices of the Vampire Community (VVC), The Dark Nations, and his involvement with his local bondage and fetish community. A PayPal account has been established to help his family with final arrangements and a benefit is being planned later in December. Please keep his family and friends in your thoughts during this difficult time.

You touched so many lives Eric; you will be missed!
